Sleeping two guests, Silver Well Cottage is ideal for romantic getaways or solo adventures. This truly unique property is the only self catering accommodation on Ilkley moor and is located at 1000ft. The Space: Silver Well Cottage has a homely and welcoming feel throughout. Studio in layout, the open plan kitchen, dining, living and bedroom space is perfect for two guests. A great place to relax, you won’t tire of the beautiful views of the countryside. In the winter months, you can fire up the log burner and turn on the flat screen TV for a cosy night in. Behind the sofa, you’ll see the king size bed which has premium bedding and linens so you can have a blissful night's sleep. The shaker style kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering stays. With an electric over, induction hob, fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave you’ll have everything you could need to prepare meals easily. The dining area includes a wooden dining table and two matching chairs. You can also enjoy your meals alfresco style on the terrace outside. Head to the bathroom and you’ll find a traditional space. Unwind in the freestanding bathtub or start your day with a refreshing shower. The room is complete with a basin and WC. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date. Silver Well Cottage is strictly no pets and there is bike storage available upon request for those travelling with bikes. All guests must be over the age of 18. The Neighborhood: The pretty spa town of Ilkley is located in the Wharfe Valley. Popular for its famous moor and beautiful countryside, there are plenty of walks right on the doorstep. Also home to one of the largest cycling clubs in the country, the area is great for those who like to explore by bike. Ilkley is also a dream for those who like to rock climb as the town has the famous Cow and Calf Rocks. With independent boutiques, popular high street stores and delicious delicatessens, the town has a wide variety of shops to discover. You’ll often find vintage fairs in the town centre so we’d definitely recommend taking a look as you explore. If you’d like an afternoon treat, head to Betty’s Tea Room where you can get homemade cakes and pastries. In the summer months, take a trip to Ilkley Lido to make the most of the sunshine. There are also many other attractions nearby such as the medieval Manor House and Toy Museum. Getting Around: Ilkley is within 40-minutes drive time of Harrogate, Knaresborough and Leeds so it’s perfectly located for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire. Ilkley train station is just over one mile from the property and has regular routes to Leeds with connecting routes to Manchester and Sheffield amongst others. There are plenty of bus routes throughout Ilkley. Hop on the X52 which travels to Harrogate or the X84 which has stops in Otley and Leeds.
