Gardener's Cottage sits within the extensive well tended grounds of a large family home .The cottage is well furnished with a large sitting room which opens onto a private terrace which enjoys the benefit of a large canopy offering shade on warm days. The kitchen is fully equipped,including a double oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher.There is a large dining table, chairs and even a sofa for additionally seating.The king size bedroom has plentiful storage & bathroom. We offer the cottage as a delightful place to stay for the discerning traveller ; whilst it is very spacious, we restrict occupancy to two guests, or for a family with a baby/ small child - you would need to bring your own travel cot. The grounds are delightful and can be enjoyed from you own private terrace - maybe whilst you enjoy an al fresco breakfast or an early evening drink. Guests are able to approach the cottage via the main residences' drive way. Parking for one car is available beside the cottage. The cottage is exclusive for your use and boasts a light and spacious space for relaxing, eating and sleeping - the main residence is not for the use of guests Debbie will be available to welcome you to The Gardeners' Cottage and give you any local information you may require. A light breakfast is included with your stay. If required, we can offer a small choice of homemade hot meals or provide a picnic lunch for a modest additional charge. Guests will be able to contact Debbie by telephone throughout their stay. Beckingham nestles on the borders of South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire - guests are able to escape from the daily hustle and bustle of busy lives and enjoy living in the heart of a desirable village. . Beckingham is ideally located for visitors wishing to explore many places of interest or to walk along the banks of the River Trent. Nearby you will find: Epworth; Home of John Wesley. Babworth and Scrooby; Visit the start of the Pilgrim Fathers' journey from England to America. Sherwood Forest and the Royal Oak made famous by Robin Hood and his men The historic city of Lincoln; Steeped in history and places of interest including The Cathedral, The Castle, Steep Hill and The Jews House & Roman Excavations Just 3 miles away is The Blacksmiths; a foodie destination for fine wines and AA awarded food.
