Cozy and comfortable, this room features a private bath with small clawfoot tub/shower combination, Queen-sized bed, vanity/small work desk, and non-working fireplace. A hot 3-course breakfast is served to you in our vintage dining room. *As a registered Bed and Breakfast, we are required to collect state and local tax of 10.75%. We are certified, AAA inspected and licensed Bed and Breakfast. Located in an urban setting close to the Saranac Brewery, Stanley Theater, Munson Williams Procter Art Institute and many local bars and restaurants. Off street parking, breakfast room service and a free snack and tea area are available to you at no additional cost. Each guest is provided with a key to there respective room as well as a key to the Inn allowing you to come and go at your leisure. The Rosemont Inn is a family run business. Our goal is to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. An Innkeeper will be available to you during breakfast hours as well as from 3-8pm ready to assist you, offering assistance in the navigation of our historical city with a wide variety of local bar and restaurant suggestions. We live here and one of us will be available by phone at other times of the day should you have a service need. Our beautiful, Italianate Victorian bed and breakfast is located in the heart of Utica, NY on the main thoroughfare of Genesee Street. Our neighborhood is culturally, ethnically and racially diverse and represents many of the over 40 different people groups that call Utica home. Utica is designated as a "Refugee City" so we are naturally inclined towards welcoming strangers and helping them adjust to life in a new home and land. To us, this was the perfect place to open a business focused on offering hospitality to strangers. We are close to everything that Utica has to offer—the Stanley Theater, Munson Williams Proctor Art Institute, FX Matt Brewery, the Erie Canal, Utica Zoo, Val Bialis Ski Area, Valley View Golf Course and so much more. Utica is home to 5 colleges and we are only a short distance from all of them, within walking distance of 3. We are located in the heart of Utica, just outside of the Downtown area. We are 1.5 miles from Union Station where the Amtrack trains arrive. Taxis are readily available to take you around town or you may choose to walk. The Bus Terminal is located downtown, about 1 mile from the Rosemont. Note: As a licensed B&B, we are required to collect 10.75% state and local tax. This will be added to the room charge and payable when you check-in.
