The Beeches Yorkshire, Grade 11 house in Driffield
The Beeches Yorkshire can sleep up to a maximum of 19 in family groups with adults and children. The house works best for multi generational family get togethers or mixed families sharing time with friends. There is a lovely large garden for garden games and for the children to run around in and a terrace off the kitchen for those lazy evenings when the children are in bed. The dining table seats 16 adults comfortably. The Beeches Yorkshire is a lovely home and half of a much larger house with what you see in the photographs is all us but equally there is that again behind us where another family reside. The house dates back to around 1830 and was enlarged in 1878 by the famous architect Temple Moore. As a whole, probably the second largest house in the town and listed in Pevsner's English buildings of note East Yorkshire edition. In it's edge of town, quiet, residential location with large gardens and ample parking, we do have neighbours but it is still fairly private but also conveniently located for local restaurants, shops and bars. All the home and gardens are available to guests. Should you need any help or further information I am available to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The town is a small market town, with a market every Thursday. The town's Showground hosts regular fayres, festivals, rallyes, markets and country shows throughout the year including the huge one day country show in July. The town centre is fairly lively at the weekend with pubs and restaurants but the neighbourhood where the house is located is very quiet residential. The local train station is around 5 minutes walk and connects to Beverley, Hull and onwards in one direction and Bridlington then Scarborough in the other. There is ample parking at the house on the driveway. There are electric gates to the property and guests will be given an access code. There are also outdoor security cameras.
