There are many historic towns, castles and gardens just a short drive away. Handywater is in a small village a mile outside Henley on Thames. The area is an AONB, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Yet the local train station will take you to London Paddington in 50 minutes and even Heathrow airport is only 35 min away. We feel very privileged to live in such a beautiful area of England and hope that you too discover and appreciate the beauty of this part of Oxfordshire. For those travelling by road, we are approximately 50 min by car from London, 35 min from Heathrow airport, 20 min from Reading train station and 3 min from Henley on Thames train station. We provide taxi services for our guests within 15 miles and also Heathrow airport. We have secure car parking behind electric gates and a restaurant/pub right next door and the Henley area, which is an official Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, has many fine restaurants and good pubs.
