The Hay Loft - luxury converted barn nr Haslemere

The Hay Loft is a beautiful one bedroom converted barn in private gated grounds situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Located next to the village cricket ground, pub and church and a five minute drive to Haslemere with its mainline train station, supermarket, independent shops and coffee shops. Ten minute drive to Petworth Park, with it's stately home and deer park and to Cowdray Park, with regular polo during the summer months, farm shop and stunning walks. The Hay Loft has a fully fitted kitchen, washing machine, oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and the all important coffee machine! The living room with cathedral ceiling and exposed beams and full central heating provides a warm, cosy place to relax. There is a double sofa bed which can accommodate 2 children or 1 adult and an additional rollaway bed can be provided upon request. A flatscreen TV, books and board games are available to help you relax after enjoying the numerous walks in the vicinity. The barn has WiFi throughout. The bedroom is upstairs on the mezzanine level and has a king size bed, luxury bed linens, robes and towels. Please note, the bedroom is not suitable for those with mobility issues, as access is up a ladder style staircase. The bathroom, has a heated towel rail and a walk in shower. Externally, automated gates lead onto a landscaped driveway where parking is available and there is a decked area with outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine and a tipple of your choice! The Hay Loft shares it's courtyard with The Hay Barn, (which when booked together sleeps a total of 8 people). We (my husband, children and I) live nearby. Check in is by lockbox for your convenience. I normally try to pop in and say a quick hello and answer any questions you might have, but will respect your privacy and leave you to enjoy your stay. The Hay Loft is surrounded by beautiful countryside with numerous hikes and trails and is close to the South Downs National Park and various National Trust sites (such as the Devil's Punchbowl, which is only a hike away). It is also within driving distance of the coast, Chichester and Goodwood. It is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive into the market town of Haslemere with its independent shops, local butcher, supermarkets, pubs and coffee shops. Haslemere has a mainline train station (regular trains into London taking 50 minutes). The bus stop by the local cricket ground will take you to Haslemere or, in the other direction, to Godalming, another market town.
