A very spacious apartment with everything you need for a fantastic holiday getaway! It includes a luxury bathroom with a bathtub and ceiling speakers. There is a bureau office space for those coming on business travel and suitable for families with up to 4 people. Lots of available cupboard space. It is located on a quiet, private street. By car you can easily explore nearby windmills, historic towns, beaches and Amsterdam. Bus and train stations are within walking/biking distance. This is an entirely private guest suite for your use with a private entrance. There is parking right in front of your door. It's a very large house which sits on two streets. The "Achterhuis" doesn't have an official address, so the street name for the BACK is different from the front. You must type in "Mandepad, Broek op Langedijk" into the GPS and it will take you to the CORRECT backstreet. When you enter the street drive to the end then veer to the left and it's the grey building you will recognize from the photos. You can always call me on + (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) . I live just 5 minutes by car in the neighbouring village. I am an author and work from home, so if you ever need anything I am just a phone call away! It is a great location. You are in the centre of the small, traditional Dutch town, Broek op Langedijk. Around the corner (less than 5 minutes walking) from the apartment you will find small bars, cafes and a restaurant. There are two large shopping malls just 700m and 4km away! By car you can easily explore nearby windmills, historic towns, beaches and Amsterdam. Bus and train stations are within walking/biking distance. PLACES OF INTEREST: (If you need a bike, please let me know and we can discuss this possibility.) AMSTERDAM: It takes 45 minutes by car or 50 minutes direct by train to get to the centre of Amsterdam. I would recommend train for this outing as it is very simple, relaxing and brings you to the centre of Amsterdam without stress of parking etc. BEACHES: Bergen Aan Zee is (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) minutes by car, 1hr30 by local transport (bus) or around 50 minutes by bicycle. Egmond Aan Zee is 25 minutes by car, an hour by local transport (bus) or an hour by bicycle. HEERHUGOWAARD: A bigger town nearby, you can find more shopping malls, restaurants and a beautiful movie theatre! Biking takes 10 minutes and by car is 7-10 minutes. ALKMAAR: Less than 15 minutes by car, 25 minutes by bus or 25 minutes biking, brings you to the centre of the historic town, Alkmaar. SHOPPING CENTRE & GROCERIES: 2 minutes by car, 10 minutes on foot, 3 minutes by bicycle. BAR, CAFE, RESTAURANT NEARBY: Just minutes walking, right around the corner. TRAIN STATIONS: Heerhugowaaard train station is 5 minutes by car, 10 minutes by bicycle or 30 minutes on foot. ALKMAAR train station is 10 minutes by car or (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) minutes by bicycle. BUS STOP: 3 minutes walking or 1 minute biking.
