Please note: Parties or events are not allowed. Under the new government guidelines, we will only accept groups of less than 6 people providing it is multiple households. Groups of more than 6 are allowed if they're all from the same household. Century House was built in 1900 and is located within a private estate. This newly refurbished property boasts of an elevated position and large gardens with extensive views. Thoresby Courtyard is only 10 mins walk away on private tracks where you will find a visitor centre, cycle hire, cafe, shops and experiences. The Estate also operates a 24 hour security team, details of which will be available upon your arrival. Thoresby Park, courtyard, museum and Gallery is located in the private Country Estate of Thoresby in the heart of Sherwood Forest. Within the Grade 2 listed 18th Century Courtyard are a host of boutique shops along with the renowned Courtyard Coffee Shop along with the Queens Royal Lancers Military Museum. After a coffee stroll around the acres of parkland and woods, on our easy walking and cycling trails taking in the beauty of the ancient Sherwood Forest oak trees and the wildlife that call it home. We look forward to welcoming you to Thoresby very soon. There is plenty of car parking on site. The nearest public transport locations are the railway stations at Newark and Retford. There are buses to Edwinstowe and Ollerton from Nottingham but a taxi would be required to get to Thoresby Park. The birds are there just for you. The experience includes of a wide range of raptors, from Hawkeye Falconry’s collection of Owls, Hawks, Falcons and Eagles. Fly them yourselves in the beautiful surroundings, under expert guidance - from the graceful Owls to the speed merchants that are the Falcons. This is an experience not to be missed. - Duration - Approx. 1h 30mins - Cost - £125 ------------------------------------ Design and create your own sterling silver ring. During the day Alex will guide you through the process of making your own ring, you will explore techniques such as piercing, metal forming, soldering and polishing. The workshop is £85 per person, maximum of 3 spaces available per class.
