The Homestead

The Homestead was originally made for family and friends to enjoy a nice get away while visiting our area. This cabin is connected to our main home but is entirely separate. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a double/full size bed and a closet. The other room, has a futon bed that stays out as a double size bed. There is a t.v., love seat and some chairs in the second bedroom for guests to enjoy relaxing. Full bathroom with shower. Kitchenette has a small fridge, hot plate, microwave, toaster etc. The Homestead is located on our family property. Owners live on property. There are 5 cabins total on this property plus our main home. There is a pond on the back of the property with geese and ducks(located near the General cabin). It is about 5 miles from the river/canal and about 20 miles from Lake Maurepas. Many restaurants in the area to choose from, a supermarket, laundry mat, pharmacy, gas station, work out gym and more within 2 miles. Very unique Coffee House/Cajun village about 10 miles.
