This rental may accommodate 4 adults who may share beds for up to 7days reservation. No one is allowed to enter the rented space except the registered Airbnb guests and in special occasion a maintenance personnel as needed. The Makanella Room is a unique fabulous unit named after a very special boat we once had. It is cabin style living in an octagon redwood and cedar domed skylight masterpiece. I know you'll have a great adventure in this two bedroom one bathroom unit over looking the rushing river {during the rainy season otherwise it is a running creek] and the ocean. The magnificent views of sunrises, the sail, tug, private and commercial fishing boats coming and going, whales breaching oftentimes from January to March, and migrating flocks of birds are pretty amazing. It is a great space for two lovely couples or a group of 4 adults. No accommodation for children for safety reasons. It has a full kitchen that has all you could possibly need to prepare a simple meal. Light cooking is encouraged and you provide your own cooking ingredients as this is not a certified kitchen. The bathroom has a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower. The fully screened outdoor patio is large and lovely and has space for dining and relaxing. There's a swing and plenty of seating. We are centrally located on the Big Island, you can enjoy all the shopping, restaurants, attractions and art galleries of Hilo and enjoy our many beach parks. Surfing, paddle boarding, and body boarding are only three minutes away! go on hiking trips, Hawaii Tropical Botanical garden, Zip lines, Akaka falls ,and Rainbow falls are easy access from the house. The Volcano National Park access needs frequent monitoring due to Kilauea 's activity.. Please monitor air quality a weather changes due to current situation with Kilauea and the tropical nature of this Island. Be prepared to use recommended protectors to maintain your optimum health and safety. You may also want to visit Mauna Kea Visitors " Center, Green Sand Beach, South Point, Black Sand Beach , Honolii Beach Park and Carlsmith Beach Park or go to Kona, Waipio Valley for a day trip. Our fantastic views in this unit may have you just wanting to stay home and relax in your home away from home! I am graciously waiting your arrival with an open heart. It is my passion that you enjoy a vacation with memories that last a life time. Once done i will let guests know should they want to spend quiet hours there. I have also have just installed a garbage disposal in the kitchen. I request that it is use only for soft easy to grind matters that are soluble and to use warm water running while using it. I truly appreciate your attention to this matter. My best . The air conditioning unit was added to this rental space without extra charges to guests. My request is for you to turn it off when you leave for the day and turn it back on, if needed, when you return. I need now to attach a reminder note on the door as you leave as this has been usually overlooked . Electricity is very expensive in the Island plus the way it is being used it might overheat I appreciate your attention to this matter
