A character filled and comfortable barn conversion on a diversified farm in Wivelsfield. Accessed across a lovely sunny courtyard that is shared with another Air B and B. This is a lovely en suite bedroom with a kingsize bed, walk in shower room, small sofa and TV . Central heating and Wifi. There is no kitchen but there is a kettle, Nespresso coffee machine and mini fridge. A perfect bolt-hole to explore the Sussex countryside or Brighton with it's vibrant nightlife and lovely beaches. A lovely space with exposed beams and full height windows onto a shared courtyard with seating and a bistro set for alfresco dining. Although we are located in a diversified farmyard (many of the farm buildings are now offices) The Old Bull Pen is tucked away in a quiet corner and at weekends the farm is blissfully quiet with a bit more of a hum of activity during the week. There is unlimited parking. The Old Bull Pen can also be rented alongside The Old Calving Yard to create accommodation for 4 adults. I live in the house next door so am on hand if you need anything. Am always happy to help if I can. There are footpaths very close (some across the farm) and you can walk to the village pub and shop via these. There is also a micro brewery in the farmyard that open up their Tap Room on a Friday and Saturday nightly food outlets (currently Indian street food on Fridays and Wood fired pizzas on Saturdays). There are security cameras around the farmyard. There is a bus stop on the road outside the farm with regular(ish) buses to Brighton and Haywards Heath. Trains to London from Haywards Heath run 2 an hour. About 45mins. Trains from Burgess Hill or Wivelsfield to Brighton run very regularly and take about 15mins to the city centre. The coast is about a 30 min drive away with a variety of beaches. The South Downs are just a 10 min drive away where you can walk for miles with running views over the coast and inland. The Ashdown Forest is also very lovely for walking especially in the Spring when the bluebells are in flower.
