The cabin in Cooksmill Green

Our cabin is exactly that. It’s a cabin that is functional. A good base to explore the area or attend a function. It’s not a 5 star hotel but warm, clean and cosy. This is a purpose built cabin with 2 good sized bedrooms, an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner and a bathroom with a bath and shower. It is situated within a 15 minute walk to the nearest pub, 1.5 miles from Roxwell and 6 miles from Chelmsford Railway station This cabin was built in 2015 where we lived as a family of 4 for six months. It is lovely and warm in the winter and keeps cool in the summer. This cabin is in the countryside and provides a good base to explore the surrounding area. Due to the quirky nature of cabins there is low head height in the doorways to the bedrooms. To gain the exact location guests need to click the check in button. This will provide photos of the final route and code to the key safe for east access self check in. Chelmsford city centre is 6 miles away. Attractive rural location with footpaths to explore from the doorstep. Great for the following wedding venues: Blake Hall, Channels, Boreham House, the Reid Rooms and many more. Close to Hylands park for the many festivals and events. 2 miles from Writtle Agricultural College 15 minute drive to Broomfield hospital 30 minute drive to Stansted Airport. There will be limited interaction with guests as we respect your privacy. We are happy to answer any questions you have regarding the area or make recommendations to help make the most of your stay. Nearest pub is a 10 minute walk. The nearest village of Roxwell is 1 mile away A car is almost essenstial to get around. Secured bike storage is available Cot available upon request.
