There are hours and hours of walks around the village and there a large number of Friendly Dog owners in the village that like nothing more than a chat. Its a 10 minute drive to the market Town of Fairford with local supermarkets, shops, cafes, pubs and take aways. RAF FAIRFORD is an active US Military airbase and the house is a stones throw from the Airfield. In general, you don't hear the planes from the Cottage but we do occasionally get Visiting B 52 Bombers and even the Stealth Bomber. That is an exciting bonus of the Cottages location as the plane spotters out there can walk right along the perimeter fence of the Airfield and watch the take offs and landings. Kempsford is the perfect spot to explore the Beautiful Cotswold's. Only 10 minutes from the huge lakes complex of over a hundred lakes with every conceivable water sports along with Restaurants, cafes and bars .
