Beautiful and unique chateau gite in the picturesque parc national de Brenne.

Our chic gite is positioned in the courtyard of Chateau des Chezeaux, facing a beautiful large heated swimming pool, and behind the gite is a view of rolling verdant landscape. The gite was the original boulangerie and fromagerie for the chateau, and is now a unique and lovely place to stay, with an open plan ground floor, it's own terrace, and two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. There is even a piano for the musically minded in the living area, and table tennis, croquet and badminton available. Free and excellent wifi. The beds are super comfortable with excellent mattresses, and wonderful Egyptian cotton linen is provided. Bicycles are available if you'd like to borrow them, and we are very close to the wonders of the river Creuse. A voie vert, a disused railway track 60 kilometres long is right on out doorstep, for walking or cycling. The Brenne is notably one of the least polluted areas in Europe, and offers a wealth of beauty spots and activities. We have 500 species of butterflies here. It is also an area loved by artists, it was one of the Impressionists favourite areas. The gite is normally hired by the week, but off season we would consider long weekends. We have four beautiful rooms in the chateau also, and are happy to discuss requirements for an event or family gathering. We have a drinks licence for beer, wine and champagne. A welcome basket will be waiting, and a warm welcome guaranteed!
