For business travelers and medical residents, the apartment is close to all major airports, hospitals (NUMC, Winthrop, Northwell), universities and corporate offices throughout Nassau County. Beautifully designed apartment located on the ground floor of a single-family home with a private entrance and a Zen backyard facing nature preserve. Outside bistro table with seats is provided during summer and fall months. Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, microwave, convection plate, all dishes, utensils, and pots for cooking. Additionally, it has a Keurig coffee maker and a traditional drip-coffee maker. Brita water filter pitcher is included as well. Basic spices and cooking essentials like condiments are also included. The kitchen area has a breakfast table that can also be utilized as a workspace. Multiple ceiling lights ensure that food prep and working areas are always well lit up. Extras: bottled water, snacks and coffee capsules are provided for all short-term stays. Sleeping: The living room area has a large futon that opens into a queen size bed. It also has a twin-size bed. All bedding, pillows and blankets are provided. Sleeping area has a night lamp for your convenience. Additional sleeping arrangements (e.g. mattress, crib, etc.) can be arranged with advance notice. Storage: Kitchen cabinets have storage space for additional items. The twin bed has ample drawer storage. There are also shelves and clothes-hanging rack. Additional racks and drawers can be provided upon request. Bathroom: Full bathroom with state-of-the-art shower, vanity, shelving, and hangers for towels. Multiple options of ceiling lights to ensure that each area is well lit up for your convenience. Extras: high-quality doTERRA products including bar soaps, shower gel and shampoo are provided for all short-term stays. Cleaning: the apartment undergoes thorough cleaning after each guest. Additionally, the studio is equipped with all cleaning supplies that guests may need. For long-term guests, we can provide periodic cleaning for additional fee. Guests have the studio along with a fenced-out portion of the backyard entirely to themselves. Available for questions, phone calls and emails 24/7. There is always someone in the main house available to assist with any issues if needed. Quiet, safe, well-kept residential neighborhood in a very central location. Close to parks, biking- and walking paths. Within a 5-minute walking distance to grocery, dry cleaners, bank, and restaurants. Near all shopping and restaurants, 15-minute drive to Jones Beach, 7-minute drive to Hicksville train station with frequent express trains to Manhattan. It is the quickest, most reliable, and cost-effective way to get around the island and to the train station. Also, Door Dash or Uber Eats are the quickest and most convenient and reliable ways for ordering food delivery from the local restaurants.
