Woodville, Eir code Y34 WP93, is a 200-year-old Georgian house on the family farm and is surrounded by parkland. Renovated in 2006, it retains its period style now with modern amenities. Guests are also welcome to explore the large Victorian walled garden to the rear of the house as well as the water gardens. We are conveniently located to explore fabulous beaches, the Barrow and Nore river valleys, golf courses,horse riding stables and the towns of Wexford, Kilkenny and Waterford. We provide space for a maximum of six people. The South Room is a cosy double room with built-in wardrobe. The large sash window faces west making the room very light and bright. There is a private bathroom for guest use beside it. The West Room is furnished with a tester bed and large mahogany wardrobe. The room has an en-suite and windows that face out over the shrubbery garden. The East Room also has an en-suite and has two old style mahogany single beds. Guests are welcome to use the period furnished Drawing Room. The fireplace is lit in the winter providing heat along with the old-style shutters and heavy curtains. In the summer, there are beautiful views of the parkland and flowering shrubbery to the front of the house. The large west-facing window lets in the light of the setting sun, giving the room a warm glow. We offer a full Irish Breakfast which is served in the Dining Room. We provide breakfast to guests , the "full Irish", in the dining room. We will be there to welcome guests and are on hand in the evenings. We are happy to share our deep knowledge of New Ross and County Wexford and its heritage. New Ross and south Wexford are very picturesque and historic with plenty to do for the active, the adventurous and culturally curious. New Ross hosts the Association of Irish Musical Societies Festival in May ,a piano festival in September and the Wexford Festival Opera takes place in October/November Woodville is 3 kilometers from the town of New Ross which is served by national and local buses. We live on a working farm.
