Waterberg Hideaway is nestled in the majestic Waterberg chain. Experience complete tranquility, in a nature lovers delight. The farm on which the cottage is situated is surrounded by the Marakele National Park. Various animals roam the farm freely. There are trails suitable for all walking or running abilities. Star gazers have perfect views of the night sky. Perfect retreat for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of life, and reconnect with nature. Pool, fireplace and treehouse deck. Guests have the freedom to explore the farms hiking trails that we have created. Its an extraordinary experience, where we offer complete solitude. The trails take you up into the mountain with breathtaking views of the valley below. At times you can see elephants and other wild animals in neighbouring Marakele National Park. Guests can have sundowners in Big Five Corner, our family's favourite viewing spot, or while away hot days in the swimming pool. Guests will have access to all the farms trails, the swimming pool and the treehouse vantage point. We will be on hand to guide visitors. We will be available while there are guests staying Waterberg Hideaway is next door to the Marakele National Park, at times the big five can be seen. The Waterberg Biosphere Reserve is a UNESCO Heritage site. We're situated 20km outside of Thabazimbi, where guests can stock up on whatever they may need for their retreat.
