The Cowshed (L'Etable)

Situated on the cusp of Brittany, Normandy and the Loire sympathetically renovated is a cottage complex comprising of four cottages to rent. All cottages are available as single night stays as well as long stays. Complimenting the cottages is a heated pool, gardens and petanque court.Bicycles are available for use.Sat on the edge of the village you are 7km from Saint Hilaire du Harcouet offering all you could want.Shops, history, cinema, restaurants, huge weekly market and more. We are now proud to announce the completion of our 16th Century Longere fully renovated into our home and four holiday cottages with flexible sleeping capacities. Le Bois Gautier offers a superb base for exploring the historic and picturesque regions of Normandy, Brittany and the Loire. Superb comfort and a very warm welcome await you hosted by us, Dominic and Jayne who are always on site to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Your here to wind down! All our cottages are fully functional and we think all you need to make your stay , long or short, one we hope will make you want to return. The Cowshed is a rustic charming cottage with a spacious bedroom with kingsize bed upstairs. The ensuite has a large shower, basin and toilet. The open plan living kitchen diner has a fully equipped kitchen , dining table for four, sofa and reclining chair. There is a log burner and electric radiators to heat the cottage. A covered swimming pool can be enjoyed with other external entertainment ideas such as our Petanque court or Croquet.Your cottage is provided with a BBQ and private external dining areas. Bicycles are available for use. Previously a hotel manager and restaurateur. I decided to stop doing crazy hours and put my skills to use in France. Jaynes' eye for interior design and finish has come into use to create a blend of old and new, French and English. Customer service has always been paramount for my success and we would both like to feel that you would receive the same high service level here. Its been a long,hard journey and still ongoing but we hope that reviews from our clients in the future will tell of our success.We want a place to chill , relax and de-stress.We are ideally centralised to tour North, South, East and West within good driving time. Located on the edge of a quiet village. with walking distance or a short drive is the "Abbey of Savigny" ruins. safe for walking or cycling. 7min drive to the nearest supermarkets and towns. We have a metered Laundry room if required. A full log basket is provided but more can be purchased fro a small fee if required. Recycle bins are provided.
