Self catering cottage near Stone Cross on Glyndley Manor Estate, for families (children age 4+) and couples. Outdoor swimming pool - summer months only, fishing lake, launderette, play area, gardens, countryside walks. Sitting/dining/kitchen area, bathroom, two bedrooms. Non-smokers only. Dog friendly. Smart TV/ free wifi. Ideal for visiting Eastbourne, Bexhill, Battle, Herstmonceux, Lewes. Good local shopping nearby at Hailsham. Walking distance to garden centre with cafe and butchers. Sunnyside has recently been renovated and has a new kitchen and bathroom. All the appliances, curtains, lighting, TV, all of the furniture and beds are new. Complimentary basket of goodies on your arrival. One or two medium/small dogs are welcome - there is no extra charge, please let us know if you are bringing dog/s. There is a long term car park for guests. Disabled guests with blue badge can park near the cottages. Guests have access to the grounds around the cottages and the Manor House which are owned and managed by the Manor. The site is bordered by farmland and there are public footpaths for walks. Sunnyside Cottage is one of 33 holiday cottages in the grounds of Glyndley Manor Estate which is run by a religious ministry. Many of the cottages are privately owned and some are run by the Estate. It is quiet and peaceful and everyone is very friendly. You can get a bus to Hailsham or Eastbourne from Hilliers Garden Centre (about 1/3 mile from the cottage). The bus runs hourly from 7am to 6pm Monday- Saturday (there is no service on Sunday). Parking near the cottage is only permitted for disabled drivers who must display their badges. You can park and load and unload in front of the cottage, and then you can park in the long stay car park, a short walk away. Throws are provided to cover sofas if you have dogs. Dogs are not allowed on the beds unless you bring your own bedding. The outdoor swimming pool is run by Glyndley Manor and guests can use it at set times. It usually opens in May and closes in September/October - dates are set by the Manor and are variable.
