Self-contained B&B barn in Sth Downs National Park

A self-contained, 1st floor barn room in our peaceful cottage garden. Off-road parking. Double bed, ensuite, a small kitchen & living area give plenty of space to relax & enjoy the views. Podpoint EV charger! 1 hour from London by road & train, between Petersfield & Sth Harting & ideally situated for events @ the Tithe Barn, Goodwood, Cowdray & for walkers or ferries. Longer term lets available. (Hidden by Airbnb) "woodpeckercottage" The barn has a double bed, ensuite shower room, a sofa, TV and a small kitchen area with fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster and breakfast bar. Homemade cake or biscuits will greet you on arrival. Homemade granola is provided, with a selection of cereals, homemade yoghurt, fruit salad and homemade bread and jams. Hot organic bacon/sausage sandwiches, boiled eggs from our own hens, homemade waffles, porridge or warm pastries delivered to your door are also an option and included in the B&B price. In addition to the barn room, you will have access to off road parking and we can offer cyclists a lockable garage space for bikes. We can often help with lifts to and from Petersfield train station and / or the Tithe Barn. We are also happy to recommend our outstanding local pubs and restaurants, walks and activities so please do ask. Our cottage is in a very peaceful rural area, with outstanding views and lots of local footpaths. The Southdowns Way is less than three miles on foot. This is also fantastic cycling country - both on-road and off-road. The historic market town of Petersfield is 3 miles away (less than 10 minutes by car) with plenty of shops, including Waitrose and M&S Food, and restaurants. We also have the Durleighmarsh Farm Shop, Tea Rooms and Pick Your Own which is 1.6 miles away. We are approximately one hour from London by road and train (Waterloo), in an area of outstanding natural beauty between Petersfield and South Harting (both less than 10 minutes by car). We are ideally situated for events at the Tithe Barn in Ditcham, Goodwood and Cowdray. We are also c.30 minutes by car from Portsmouth International Port so make an ideal place to stop off before or after catching a ferry. The Isle of Wight is an easy day trip. We have pets on site but they are never allowed in the barn room.
