Unique possibility to enjoy rest and holidays in a very quiet place surrounded by farmland and nature! The cozy studio is in a modernized traditional Frisian farm. Nearby typical Dutch cities Leeuwarden (european cultural headcapital 2018) and Dokkum with windmills, and the Unesco world heritage Waddensea on 20 km distance. The cozy studio in the farm is located downstairs, with private entrance, kitchen / living room, bedroom, terrace, bathroom. It is located on a very quiet place in countryside. The guests have an own entrance and key. For me it is important that guests have their own space and privacy. Ofcourse i am available when there are questions and for suggestions. I like fast and open communication. Willkommen, welcome, welkom, wolkom! De boerderij/studio is in north east part of Friesland, better know as the Fryske Wâlden/Friese Wouden. Friesland has it's own culture and language, and the people are very Proud of it. Especial in the summer there are typical frisian events as Skûtsjesilen, fierljeppen and kaatsen. Just drive, cycle or walk through the countryside and discover this part of Europe! Around the area there is a beautifull landscape with forest, lakes and farmland. Also there are nice places to have lunch of dinner. The train station Hurdegaryp is on 2 km distance, the train station in Leeuwarden on 10 km distance. On 1 km distance there is a bus stop. Two free simple bicycles. And a 2-person canon/kano nearby in jachthaven Gytsjerk. (Based in availibilty)
