Black Squirrel Barn, luxury 3 bedroom, 2 bath barn

Black Squirrel Barn is a newly converted 3 bed 2 bath barn It is completely self contained so you have your privacy but I am next door to help if necessary. The barn is luxurious yet homely with cosy underfloor heating downstairs. Close by are two lovely pubs with fab food. You can also find a little post office within 5 mins walk. There are many countryside walks and cycle paths running from the house yet the A1M is minutes away. PETS CONSIDERED BY REQUEST ONLY BEFORE BOOKING (£20 per week) You will have the choice of 3 bedrooms, 2 with new King size (150cm wide) beds to sleep on and the third bedroom with one single bed which can be converted into two small singles or a king size bed . We can provide a cot and linen if you have a baby (£20 extra charge per week). This lovely barn has a hall way for all your coats and shoes and a split level lounge area with a large wall mounted Smart TV. The whole ground floor of the barn and the upstairs shower room has underfloor heating so will be lovely and cosy in Winter. There is a Smart TV in all three bedrooms and the sockets have USB points for easy charging. The spacious fully equipped kitchen/ breakfast room comes with a washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, induction hob, extractor, fridge freezer and coffee machine. There is a lovely large ensuite shower room upstairs and then a full bathroom with bath and shower above on the ground floor. There are many places to explore nearby and we are only 35 mins from Cambridge and St Albans. Its possible to walk into Letchworth Garden City in 30 mins and also a little further to Hitchin where you will find lots of restaurants and pubs. We will provide a continental breakfast for your first night/morning. Please let us know any dietary needs. We also have a Type 2 charger for electric cars (chargeable) and plenty of safe parking. Cleaning, linen and towel change will be provided weekly but you will have the opportunity to have extra chargable cleaning if desired. We look forward to welcoming you to Black Squirrel barn. Children welcome but please be aware it is split level and there are steps in the main sitting room. Outside there is a pagoda for your use and a large patio with a table and plenty of seating (during the summer months). You are welcome in our garden and we have a tennis court which you can use and we can provide rackets and balls. There is also a fire pit for those chilly nights out! We live in the village of Willian, with a village pond, post office/shop and two lovely pubs, one gastro pub and the other a smaller traditional one. There are lots of walks starting from your barn and you can also walk into Letchworth or Hitchin if you fancy eating or shopping. There are restaurants for every taste. you can of course order takeaways too. The A1M is close making easy access to many larger towns and the 505 takes you to Cambridge about 30 mins drive. There are train stations in Letchworth and Hitchin which go to London and in the opposite direction to Cambridge. Parking is available at the stations. There is not a local bus so a car is probably necessary if you were to visit here. There are many walking and cycling tracks and walking to the local towns is something we do often in lockdown times!
