Spacious, light and airy double loft room.

We hope you will choose to stay in our lovely and comfortable home. The room is at the top of our semi detached house. With views over Kings Worthy, the room is quiet and peaceful. It has a window seat which has views over the back garden. Kings Worthy is 5km from the town centre of Winchester. The bathroom is on the first floor, and is shared with other people in the house. Breakfast is not included. The house is conveniently located on a bus route into Winchester. The bedroom is at the top of the house with views to the front and the back. There is a shared kitchen and guests are welcome to use the facilities to make meals. There is one bathroom, shared between all occupants of the home. Two cats reside in the house and in the summer there is a sunny garden with a beach bar to enjoy. The room has a tv, with chromecast tv access which allows you to watch Netflix, BBC Iplayer, or any of the catch up channels. No arial so no live tv. It also has a kettle and tea and coffee in the room. Milk is available in the fridge in the kitchen, please help yourself. If you drive to our house, there is a parking space off the main road at the back of the house. Tesco Express is about 300 metres up the road. A great bus service into Winchester, leaves every half an hour opposite the house. There are two pubs, one of which is a five minutes walk away (King Charles, follow Springvale Road in a northern direction). On a Saturday Evening there is a fish and chip van at the Tesco Express in the evening. Going up Forbes Road, you find another convenience store, a pharmacy and a balti house. I am available to answer any questions you may have, and will always try to get back to you within two hours. It is best to send me a message in this app as I will get a notification. I will not respond to direct messages, all communication must go through the Airbnb app. I don't normally provide breakfast, but the kitchen is available for guest use and tea and coffee is always there. Kings Worthy is about 2 miles from Winchester town centre. There is a bus stop almost directly opposite the house if you don't drive, which runs every half an hour into the town centre. There is a pub, called the King Charles, within walking distance and a Tesco Express on the corner of the street. Other places worth mentioning are the Good Life Farm shop, at the bottom of Springvale Road and Winchester Coffee Roasters near the Green by the church. Oh and a fantastic fish and chip van which is outside the Tesco every Saturday evening. There is a car parking space at the rear of the house. The bus stop is opposite the house with buses going into Winchester town centre every half an hour. If you are booking on behalf of someone else, you must contact me first to discuss. The house is my family home and I like to know who is coming to stay. The room is strictly no smoking and smokers are requested to smoke outside the house. Not respecting the house rules may lead to a fine of £500 or for cancellation of the booking.
