A lovely wing of a converted barn in a courtyard setting, perched on a hillside above the small hamlet of shottle. The Barn has great views with footpaths from the doorstep and the area is popular with cyclists too. Great local pubs and restaurants are plentiful. We are close to Chatsworth House, Carsington Water, Matlock Bath, Ashbourne and Buxton. Off road parking and one well behaved dog welcome. All amenities provided, ECO U/F heating system including waterfall shower above the bath tub. A modern quirky interior within a traditional Barn with amazing views down the Ecclesbourne Valley. Close to Carsington Water, great for walking, cycling, boating, Kayaking and wildlife, there's a cafe and restaurant there too. You will need a vehicle to stay at this property as it's a rural location. However Ambergate and Cromford train stations would be the nearest and a taxi would be required also. Busses run to Wirksworth followed by a 45 minute uphill walk mainly of fields and tracks....or a taxi if you can get one! EV charging point available for an additional fee, when available.
