A place to relax and close to lots of attractions.

Here you can have peace and harmony. You will be close (25 km) to Aarhus (City of Culture 2017) and Silkeborg (24 km) (the Danish outdoor capital). 5 kilometers to the motorway from Aarhus to Herning and Silkeborg. 24 kilometers to E45. Car is preferable. Our house is an old school from 1903. The school had one classroom where the children of the farmers were taught by a teacher who lived in the house. We heat the house with wood in our massoven and our woodburning stoves. We have a large garden with many old trees and lots of great spots. The guesthouse is a nice and cozy little room where you will be able to sleep and relax. The bathroom is shared. It is in our house. If you need to use our kitchen we can talk about the access. We will be nearby when we have guests. We like to learn about new aspects of life, and we will treat our guests with respect and forthcomingness. You are in the countryside and we only have one bus from here. During the weekend you have to walk a couple of kilometers to catch the bus but on workdays you can catch it just outside the door a few times in the morning and in the afternoon. There is a beatiful valley here, and lots of fields and forests in the area. Bus number 112 can take you to places between Aarhus and Silkeborg. Also you can park here but we need to coordinate because it can cause some trouble getting in and out the parcel. We only have one toilet/shower so we need to have respect to each other and maybe mention if we need to use it for a longer period of time.
