"La casa dei Nonni" is part of a 18th century villa which was once a monastery. It is situated in the countryside on the Sibari plain, among olive, orange and leon trees, with a lovely crystal blue sea and the nearby mountains of the Sila. As you can see by the photos it sleeps 10 so this farmhouse is ideal for one or more families. Ground Floor: There are two spacious sitting rooms each with a fireplace. There is a digital television including Wi-Fi and Internet. A kitchen with a large fridge and a laundry room with a washing machine. A small bathroom and a double bedroom with a bathroom en suite. First Floor: It has 4 bedrooms, 2 double and 2 with 2 single beds in each. A large bathroom with bath. All the bedrooms are air conditioned which can be used for hot or cold air. Outside: The villa has 2 terraces, on the ground floor and 1st floor. There is a large tiled courtyard, for guests only, where one can eat and relax under a pergola of bougainvillea. Tables, chairs and reclining chairs are provided. There are two hidden showers with hot water for washing after returning from the sea. Also outside is a small brick shed where the garden equipment is kept. Access to the villa with the entrance in the garden On your arrival there will be the caretaker who will give you the keys of the villa and explain the running of the house and can answer any questions. He will take the keys at the end of your stay. The villa is nestled in a campaign of olive and lemon trees, in a quiet and relaxing place to enjoy the scents of the place with a beautiful crystal blue sea and the nearby mountains of Sila. Close to the villa you can visit the Amarelli museum, the world's most famous Italian liquorice. Not far from the seaside resorts and attractions of water games Water Park. Numerous seaside restaurants where you can taste the specialties of fish and meat culinary OF Rossano Calabro. The villa is 4 km from Rossano Scalo and 7 km from historic town of Rossano Calabro in the region of Cosenza , Calabria. If you are coming by car take the A3 motorway ( Salerno-Reggio Calabria ) exit Sibari. After about 30 km on SS.106 road you arrive at your destination. The nearest airport is Lamezia-Terme about 130 km on the A3 motorway. At the airport you can hire a car or motorbike.
