Traditional gite in the heart of Normandy

La Cavee makes a great weekend break for family and friends. Set in a peaceful country location and close to amenities its the ideal way for groups to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, special occasions or just for old friends to meet. Five good sized bedrooms sleeping up to 13 people. There is also a sofa bed in lounge that will accommodate 2 extra people. Weekend breaks allow early arrival and late departure if required. The pretty South facing garden includes a small pond and waterfall. Garden furniture is provided and there is additional garden seating and a permanent barbecue to enjoy those lazy summer evenings. Dogs and pets are welcome and there is a secure field for you to exercise your dog. English speaking doctor, dentist and vet nearby. Children can enjoy themselves in the play area with swings and other games. There is also an area and equipment for "Boules". The extended garden area consists of a large field, flower garden and Boules area Guest have full access to Gite and outside garden area We are very conscious of the need to respect guest privacy however we are on hand to help with any questions or queries or special requests they may have. The market town of Gavray is a 10 minute drive with a very good Saturday market. For larger shops / supermarkets etc Coutances is 15 minute drive. The Bayeux Tapestry, D-Day beaches, Mont St. Michel, the Cathedral town of Coutances, the Copper Centre of Villedieu les Poeles and the port of Granville are all within easy reach. Beautiful sandy beaches are within a 20 minute drive. La Cavee has parking for up to 8 cars.
