Cosy self-contained annex close to Southwold
This self-contained accommodation is bright, cosy and quiet. It is a family run accommodation. It has all the amenities needed for a break away, located in to Suffolk country side in a small town called Wangford. Which has two pubs within walking distance, a village shop, playing field, church and connects to all local bus routes. It's a great destination to access all local towns including Southwold (which is a 7 minute drive away or an hour walk), Aldeburgh, Minsmere, Beccles and many more. The space, as you can see in the photographs, consists of a bright area where you will find the most comfortable bed to lay your head after a day of exploring the local towns, a wardrobe, a large TV, kitchenette with dining table, an armchair and a two seater sofa. There is a king sized bed and we are able to add an additional put you up which does make the space even more cosy and so suitable mainly for children or young adults however we have previously had adult use this set up and they have been very comfortable. *Please note this is an open planned living area and all guests will be in the same area as there are not separate bedrooms as you can see in the photos.* The accommodation has a fully kitted out bathroom, so no need to bring towels or bedding as this is all provided. The dining facilities have the following: a microwave, induction hob, stocked fridge and tea making facilities. We offer a free continental breakfast to all guests including cornflakes, white and brown bread, ham, cheese, fruit and biscuits etc which is readily available within the annex. We always aim to go above and beyond to ensure guests have the greatest time visiting us. The space is a converted large lorry garage neighbouring an additional annex which can also be found on AIR B&B that was once a double car garage and now hosts frequent guests allowing them to explore the confines of Suffolk. We are open and welcoming to well behaved dogs, however there is a cat at the property grounds so we ask that they are kept on a lead when outside. There is also a large park/field where dogs are allowed. This is 30 seconds away where your furry friend can stretch its legs and do it’s business. There are also some lovely scenic back lanes at the bottom of the property’s drive which lead to Reydon and then further on to Southwold. Reydon woods is a popular walk for all dogs and owners and takes around 20 minutes to walk around if doing the shorter route. During the spring the wood is covered in bluebells. Check in and check out are relatively flexible. We ask that this is discussed when booking. We aim to please all our guests with these timings even if it means dropping luggage/vehicles off whilst cleaning takes place. Check out is before 12:00am in order to achieve highest cleaning standards before next guests arrive. This is a family run accommodation and you will be warmly welcomed by either one of the family members including Lucille, Trevor or Rosie. We aim to welcome all guests at the accommodation on arrival. We also live at the annex grounds. Guests access the property via their own entrance which you can see within the photographs. You have access to your own key throughout the duration of your stay. We will be on the property grounds to welcome guest as we also live on the grounds. If for any reason we are not available at the time of arrival then we would secure the key and give the code prior to arrival, this would be discussed when booking if necessary. There is also a seating area outside the accommodation, which we encourage guests to use at any time during their stay with us. If guests wish to dine outside or have drinks outside we encourage this and hope for guests to treat the space as their own to allow them to enjoy their break away as much as possible. We are also located on the grounds of the property so any issues/ problems can be tended to there and then. If you have any question before during or after your stay with us we are available 24/7 and will get back to you as soon as possible. Collection and return of the key will not be an issue as we will be there to introduce you to the grounds of the annex, ensure your settled and address any issues or problems if anything occurred. You can walk the back lanes to Southwold where there is a lovely pier, town and stretch of beach- this is a lovely walk on a good day but can take over an hour. There are also carparks in Southwold which you can drive to and park at all day, or if you’re lucky enough you can park in the town but only for an certain amount of time or down the side streets. There are lots of lovely places to walk your furry friends including Reydon woods, Dunwich woods, Southwold beach and Southwold harbour which are all close and can be accessed by walking or driving depending on how much of a keen walker you are apart from Dunwich . Reydon woods is a picturesque woods especially when the bluebells begin to spurt and we would recommend a walk round this woods. This also applies to Dunwich woods, which is a five minute drive away and entertains many different winding routes with lots of wildlife. Further on is RSPB Minsmere which hosts hundreds of birds, walks and a lovely little café. We look forward to hosting you and know you won’t regret staying with us. We are very accommodating and able to wavier check in times if cleaning and all checks are done. If this is possible and would help you during arrival please do not hesitate to ask. The property is on a bus route through to local towns and can be caught at the bottom of the accommodations drive.
