Hopefully our home is comfortable and welcoming.We have a little land around us to enjoy some privacy and get away from the hustle and noise of life.Morning sun and a cup of coffee on the patio will be a great way to start your day.Travelers,parents,Professors,students, wedding participants,wine tasting, hikers, bike riders...will love our location.We are located in a city intersection of Penngrove,Rohnert Park,Petaluma, & Cotati. One block away Sonoma State University,15 minutes to Santa Rosa. Our place is a block away from Sonoma State University (SSU) and the Green Music Center. We are at the gateway to Wine Country and 10 minutes away from Lagunitas Brewery, Russian River Brewery and Graton Casino. You'll find the famous little town of Petaluma(American Graffiti) just down the road and the Pacific Ocean as close as 25 minutes away.Our place is good for SSU parents, Professors, couples, solo adventurers, wine tasters, bike racers and business (Website hidden by Airbnb) note where Sonoma State University is on a map so you have a good idea of where we are located. We take great care in abiding by the Corona Virus Cleaning and Sanitizing Guidelines. We ask our guests to do the best they can in their self protection and C-19 Guidelines also. We require that you wash your hands or sanitize them "every time" you come into the house. There is a bottle of sanitizer in the entryway. Would love to know if you have been vaccinated. Thank you. One other bit of information, this ABB is for 21 years and older with prior reviews and experience at other ABBs. ID documentation will be reviewed at check-in. This ABB is not set up for extra guests or visitors. If the need arises for a 'quick visit', please discuss this with the Hosts. Thank you. You will have a private room with a queen size bed, Netflix TV and access to WiFi. There is a mini-fridge for your convenience and a Keurig coffee pot, coffee pods and assorted tea in the room. The shared bathroom is across the hall from your room. Please note -no extra guests.There is no cooking and we ask that you don't drink red wine in your room(spilt red wine on walls and white bedding from prior guests). You are welcome to use our microwave if you like. You are also welcome to use the backyard patio. Great place for a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Let me know if you need wine glasses. Please do not wander past the hedge. The back half of the property is a private area and is closed to ABB guests. We will be available to answer any questions. You’ll love our place because of the location and ease. Our property is uniquely situated in a little piece of country, but minutes away to major areas & sites: Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Cotati, Sonoma, Napa, Healdsburg... We are on a dead-end street, a 5 minute walk to Sonoma State. We are close to a small shopping center with fast food and great restaurants, Starbucks too. We are around 20 minutes to the closest beach. We have some local literature for you: Petaluma City Map, Sonoma County Farms Trails Map & Guide, Sonoma County Visitors Guide, Sonoma County Wine and Visitors Map, Petaluma Visitors Guide, Sonoma Coast & Marin Coast Guide and our local Pengrove Proud Community Magazine. There are public buses in front of Sonoma State, taxi's, Lyft and Uber available. The Smart Train is @ 1/2 mile down the road. Schedules available online. The train stop would be "Cotati". There is also a very nice bike path at Sonoma State. We are an active working family with 1 small dog and an outside cat that tries to sneak in on a daily basis. (Please do your best to keep the screen locked to keep the sneaky cat outside, don't let her con you into letting her in) We also have a cockatiel. Our quiet time begins at 11 pm so please keep that in mind when you come in. Please keep visiting in your room during our quiet hours (11pm -6am). Please note that we do not provide breakfast - coffee or tea only. There is a Keruig coffee pot and mini-fridge in your room for you. If you stay with us for a length of time, we do not make your bed daily nor clean your room. We will gladly wash your towels every other day, just leave them on the bathroom floor, and we will leave a clean set of sheets for you once a week. Check in is after 3 pm, check out is by 11 am. If something comes up or this time frame does not work for you, let me know and we will always see what we can work out for you.
