Cosy Cottage with stunning views just minutes from the beach. A great place to visit local attractions at Saltburn, Staithes and Whitby or use as a base for walking the Cleveland way. Rest up after a full day with a glass of something in front of the log burner. Wifi, Smart TV, Board games, and fully equipped kitchen mean you will have everything you need for a break away! Any issues guests can contact us through Airbnb or via our mobiles (information given at check in) Our Cottage is just 2 minute drive from the unspoilt beach at Skinningrove, which is fabulous for dogs and quiet walks. If you want a few more attractions then in less than 10 minutes you can be on the peir at Saltburn. The very pretty coastal village of Staithes is just 8 miles to the south, with Whitby with all its attractions just a bit further to the south. Just 6 miles from the cottage is Runswick Bay, named Britain's best beach by The Times in 2020. Loftus is a great base from which to explore the North York Mores and Coastline. Loftus village itself has a few pubs, several takeaways and a Co-op. Skelton industrial park (8 mins) has an Asda, Aldi, Greggs, a pub serving food and a McDonalds. So everything you need is right on hand. The cottage is just a few minutes walk from the Cleaveland way so is ideal for a walking holiday. There is on-road parking to the front of the cottage and space is rarely an issue. The nearest train station is Saltburn-by the sea, and you can catch a bus in the village of Loftus to Middlesbrough, Saltburn and Whitby. We are dog friendly. There are water bowls, dog beds, and dog towels available for visitor use. often there is also emergency dog food and treats!
