Oak View Manor The Blue Suite

The Blue Suite is 1 of 3 side-by-side suites tucked away in a pretty private courtyard behind our 1917 Cape Dutch heritage home. It has a queen-size bed, en suite shower, kitchenette with wash-up sink, bar fridge, microwave, kettle & basic utensils, free WiFi, & Netflix, safe gated parking. You are welcome to join us in the main house coffee shop & home pub (open on selected days) or chill in the inside lounge areas whenever we are around. The garden areas are yours to enjoy. This is a gorgeous old heritage home built in 1917, now sensitively restored and artfully decorated with you in mind. The suites are all decorated in an upcycled vintage style, while their vintage beds are well-maintained with firm bases and high-quality matrasses. We live in the main house and are very hospitable. You are welcome to join us for something to eat, drink, or simply relax and socialize in the house restaurant, Her Majesteas Salon and our home pub, (open on selected days), or to join us in the pub or comfy lounges whenever we are around. You are always free to use the garden or relax outside under the giant oak. Our guests and day visitors regularly spend hours here and feel (Email hidden by Airbnb) e and go as you please, and we can recommend several places to go and things to do when you are here, including a 5km walk on a friend's beautiful farm (free to our guests), and a local heritage tour by a knowledgeable friend. We also have a laundry where we can launder and/or tumble dry items for you if you wish, (at your own risk) at a small additional charge. Your breakfast can be enjoyed in the main parlour, under the oak, or served to your room. We can give you your privacy or you are free to socialize with us. You can ask us anything at any time. Feel at home. Oak View Manor is in the older part of our small country town, and it is mostly very tranquil here, with lots of birdsong thanks to the giant trees in the garden. There are several heritage spots to see (even when walking) and a heritage tour can be arranged. We also have several beautiful farms and leisure spots around us and many have activities for day visitors. You have free, safe gated parking here at Oak View Manor. Our town is small and easy to access with loads of parking. You can even walk to many of the central coffee shops and antique/vintage shops. There are also several places to visit just out of town that we can recommend for dining and riverside picnics. The only reason our instant book option is turned off is to avoid double bookings (our local booking management platform has difficulties with accepting Airbnb bookings). We are sure to accept your booking and to respond rapidly to your request, we just need to manually add it to our booking platform first. Breakfast, lunch or dinner can be arranged on request and if you have laundry we can assist.
