The Lodge is a 2 bedroom detached apartment with its own garden, located in semi-rural Pyrford, just outside West Byfleet village. Suitable for both holidaymakers and business stays. Measures we have taken include: - We block out 1 day before and 1 day after each and every booking to air the space before welcoming the next guests. - All surfaces are thoroughly cleaned with antibacterial cleaning products. - We wash all our towels and linen at 60 degrees - We provide antibacterial hand wash and washing up liquids - we provide antibacterial hand gel for use each time you enter The Lodge During the pandemic period, in line with government guidelines, we are keeping our social distancing and therefore will do virtual check-in. We are on site should you required any assistance. Feel free to get in contact with us if you have any questions. ********************************************************************* The Lodge offers 600 square feet of living space, our apartment accommodates 4 people comfortably. Comprised of: - Bedroom 1 - a double bed - Bedroom 2 - twin bedroom with two single beds - A light, airy and spacious lounge, perfect for relaxing in front of the TV - A separate dining area - A modern fitted kitchen, fully equipped with a 4 ring halogen hob, full size oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Note we do not have a dryer. - Pots, pans, cooking utensils and crockery for those who fancy a night in. - The tap in the kitchen provides filtered water. - A spacious and modern bathroom, with electronic control shower and full bath tub. We are only minutes away from both the tranquillity of the River Wey navigation, perfect for walking or cycling as well as narrow boat hires, and the delightful RHS Wisley garden. Brooklands business park, McLaren, Mercedes Benz World and the museums, Hampton Court (the home of Henry VIII) Windsor castle and the three theme parks (Chessington World of Adventures, Thorpe Park and Legoland) are a short drive away. Access to the M25,A3 is also close by. Frequent train into London Waterloo within 30 minutes and fast trains that takes only 22 minutes! Guests can enjoy the side garden accessible to the left of The Lodge. This private garden is ideal for al fresco dining and barbeques during the summer months. Guests will not have access to the main house nor the garden. There are no parking restrictions in operation in the surrounding streets. Could we ask you to be considerate of our neighbours if you do park on the street. We live on site so help is always at hand. Best way to communicate is via text or knock on our door. Please do let us know of who is staying so we could make up the beds accordingly, especially for children as we believe it's fun for them to arrive at The Lodge feeling like being at home. If you have any special requests or allergies, please let us know in advance of your arrival and we will do our utmost to accommodate. West Byfleet village centre is 15 mins walk away, with selection of shops, great restaurants, a large Waitrose and Tesco Express. There is a local Pyrford village parade of shops to Inc a cafe, butcher, a great off licence and a local co-op supermarket that opens to 10pm everyday. From here guests can also take trains directly into London from West Byfleet train station. Fast trains into London Waterloo takes just 22 minutes. Nearby attractions: River Wey Navigation / Anchor Lock pub: 3-5 minutes drive / cycle or a 20 minute walk – from here you can walk or cycle south to Guildford along the towpath or north to Weybridge and the River Thames. You can also hire narrow boats from Parvis Wharf (5 minutes drive). Woking, Guildford and Kingston are all a short drive away where you can shop till you drop. We are 15 minutes walk from West Byfleet village center which offers a wide range of great restaurants and local shops. A car is not necessary but recommended if you plan to see the local areas. We have good links to public transport. Trains from West Byfleet into London Waterloo take as little as 22 minutes (fast train) journey time. Journey varies based on time of travel. Easy access to A3 and M25 (Junction 10). Heathrow and Gatwick are also easily accessible. Plenty of walk trails and cycling routes (in fact the Ride London event comes right past our front door). There are frequent buses that take you to Kingston, Guildford, Weybridge, Woking and nearby villages. This area is the golfers' paradise! We are surrounded by 3 golf courses.
