Cuckoo Barn Lodge nestles in an idyllic valley and is 8 and 6 miles respectively from the historic market towns of Stamford and Oakham and sits 2 miles north of Rutland Water. Walking, cycling, golf, fishing, sailing, historic houses and great places to eat all within a few minutes drive. The lodge is in open countryside so a car is recommended however there are railway stations in both Oakham and Stamford with a good taxi service and great walking and cycling on your doorstep. There is ample parking for several cars. The lodge is well equipped with an oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, under counter fridge, under counter freezer, microwave. There is a heated lobby area for outdoor coats and a substantial boot rack. There is an undercover area to store bikes. There is also an outdoor tap to clean boots etc...
