Old Piggery - a cosy, rural barn conversion for 4
This lovely barn conversion comfortably sleeps up to 4 people. The Old Piggery has one double bedroom plus a comfortable sofa bed in the main living area. The kitchen is spacious & is fully kitted out with crockery & pans, a cooker, fridge freezer and washing machine. There is a pretty patio area outside the cottage where you can enjoy the peaceful evening sunshine. Highly accessible, The Piggery is set out on one floor, with just two steps from the kitchen to the bedroom and bathroom. During your stay you will have sole access to the entire cottage, the kitchen has a cooker with grill and a fan oven, there is a washing machine and fridge freezer. All crockery, pans and cutlery are supplied. There is a large L-shaped sofa in the lounge with storage for bedding. It builds into a comfortable full-size double bed The bed in the bedroom is kingsize. In the shower room there is a large shower cubicle, basin & WC. There is wifi internet access throughout the cottage. The doors open onto ample parking at the front and pretty farm views out the back from the kitchen window. The cottage has just been recently renovated and finished to a high standard. Unfortunately with the inclement weather this winter we have struggled to finish the gardens fully, there is a patio area where you can sit outside but the garden is still in need of some more work. there is plenty of off road parking up a private drive. We will meet you when you arrive at the farm and show you to The Old Piggery Cottage, we live on the family farm on site, so are available if you need anything during your stay. We are set in a rural location nestled in between Costock and East Leake. There is a local pub in Costock called The Generous Britton and there are also a selection of shops and restuarants in East Leake, all within a 10 minute walk. There is a bus route going to Loughborough and Nottingham just a 10 minute walk away The Old Piggery is situated on our working farm, you are welcome to go for walks, come and meet our animals and talk to us about our work in the countryside and with our animals. We also have an on-site family butchery, selling home reared and locally sourced meat and other produce.
