Wunderbare Villa Kunterbunt

Dirkshorn is a nice rural place, 5 km from the pretty town of Schagen. Dirkshorn even has a Golf course. The children's paradise De Holle Bolle Boom is 1 km away, and there are swimming pools nearby. In spring, tulips, daffodils and hyacinths are in full bloom in huge fields. The sea is about 10 km away. There you will find the costal towns of Petten, Sint Maartenszee, Camperduin and Schoorl. The towns of Bergen (art and culture) and Alkmaar (cheese market on Friday, restaurants, culture) are 13 and 15 km away. The capital Amsterdam, 55 km away, can be reached by train from Schagen in an hour without worrying about parking. A day trip to Texel or the IJsselmeer is also worthwhile.
