Stunning cottage on the North Norfolk coast
The Coach House is a lovely, recently re-furbished self-contained cottage located within the grounds of our farmhouse. It is a very short walk away from Weybourne beach, The Ship Inn and our village shop. Very close by is the beautiful Georgian town of Holt, the coastal town of Sheringham and Sheringham Park. We are located just off the North Norfolk coast road, very convenient for Blakeney, Cromer, Holkham and Wells Next the Sea. For a holiday to North Norfolk this is the perfect location! The Old Coach House is part of the old farm complex and is opposite our house. It has its own entrance and parking space. There is a fully equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher), a washer / dryer, wifi and a tv. The cottage is best suited for 3 people though there is room for a travel cot if needed (you would need to bring your own travel cot). We do not currently have stair gates. You will have the whole cottage. We are usually around to answer any questions and offer suggestions. We are in the heart of the beautiful village of Weybourne which is on the Norfolk Coastal Path and the North Norfolk steam railway. Our brilliant village pub, the Ship Inn, is 2 minutes walk away and serves delicious food including the famous crabs and lobsters caught at Weybourne beach. The Weybourne village shop serves excellent coffee, pastries and snacks throughout the year. The beach is an 8 minute walk (2 minute drive) away. There are many beautiful walks either along the coast or over Kelling Heath. We particularly love the walk along the cliffs to Sheringham. The Muckleburgh Military collection is a 15 minute walk away (or drive in 2 minutes) and has an unbelievable collection of tanks, aircraft, artillery and millitaria. The museum is also a fascinating insight into the areas history. Sheringham train station is 3 miles away. There is also a Coast Hopper bus service that connects Weybourne to Cromer, Sheringham, West Runton, Blakeney, Stiffkey, Cley, Salthouse, Morston and Wells. The North Norfolk Railway runs a steam train that starts in Sheringham or Holt and usually stops at Weybourne, check the website for current timetables. I am very happy to help you with any questions you may while you are staying and will do my best to make your visit as comfortable as possible.
