Benecko Modern Mountain Guest house

At 870m in Benecko, in the Krkonose national park, we offer you exclusive lodging in our well equipped Guesthouse. The house is located on the higher part of the village on a quiet road. The main local ski lift is within a few hundred meters from the house. Benecko is one of the top locations in the Czech Republic, excellent for families with a lot of different activities to do throughout the year. In winter it's the perfect location for all types of winter sports. #fourseasonsbenecko The guesthouse is ½ of the house and consists of 4 rooms: 3 downstairs and one common room with fully equipped kitchen on the middle floor. There is also the option to rent the full house, it's on Airbnb as well, if you cannot find it, just let us know and we will tell you about it. The rooms downstairs have all access to the garden (unless there is snow :) ) + have their own bathrooms with floor heating. There is place for 3 people per room: 1 large box spring bed and one single bed (a sofa bed). On the same floor there is a wellness with both steam and dry sauna (price is based on usage). All rooms have TV’s and there is wireless internet in all the rooms. This part of the house has its own entrance and is separated from the rest of the house. On the middle floor you will have a living room with fully equipped kitchen, big TV with plenty of international channels and its own bathroom. This space could also be used for sleeping if needed. We have 1 toddler bed (travel type) we can place anywhere in the house. The guesthouse has direct access to the garden and has its own entrance on the back of the house. There is a wellness on the bottom floor. Parking is possible around the house, but in winter the amount of available places is depending on the amount of snow (e.g. max 4 cars). There is a public parking down the hill, a few minutes walk away. We are often in Benecko ourselves and will try to meet you at check-in and check-out (depending on the time of arrival). You can always call us at any time in case of issues or questions. In case we cannot make it to meet you, we will tell you upfront where the key can be picked up. We speak Czech, Dutch, English and German. Even some Russian should be OK even if limited :) Quietly situated on the higher side of the village of Benecko, in the heart of the Krkonose Mountains, we offer you a relaxing stay in our house. The Krkonose Mountains, also known as the Giant Mountains, are a national park and protected by UNESCO. The river Elbe has its springs here, which makes it ideal for any type of outdoor sports, cycling (both mountain and race), hiking, skiing (both downhill and cross country), horse riding, climbing, water sports (fishing or boat) but there are also great golf courses in the area. If your more interested in adrenaline sports you can fly, bobsleigh or zorb. There are many events organized in the area for both adults and kids. In general Benecko is known to be the perfect place for families. All 4 seasons has its own charm and there is plenty to do. If the weather is good you have to get outside; you get the fresh unspoiled mountain air for free. If it is raining you can enjoy the wellness in the house or we can give you plently of tips on a 10 minutes car drive away. The best way to get to the house is by car. You can park next to the house and the area is considered to be very safe. If you're from outside the Czech Republic, you can also fly to Prague and rent a car. You can drive to the house in less than 2 hours. If you're driving, make sure you have some snow chains if you want to get the car all the way up to the house. This location, as part of a national park, is renowned for its air quality, and for being a recommended retreat for those suffering from respiratory problems. We often host families looking for a place where their children can spend some time breathing clean air as a relief from asthma and allergies. For this reason, we always strive to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the home and avoid contact with allergens, such as animal hair. We are therefore unable to accommodate guests with animals, including assistance animals, as it could seriously endanger the health of our regular guests.
