'Rosebud' is located in the Surrey semi-rural village of Tongham, within walking distance of the local pub and shopping parade. A further walk will take you into the quaint village of Seale. The Hogs Back Brewery is just up the road from our cottage. The tour of the brewery is a must for all beer lovers! Farnham and Guildford are within easy reach by car. You can be in central London within the hour by train. Ideal for business travellers, visiting relatives or attending a wedding. 'Rosebud' has been lovingly converted into a modern dwelling whilst retaining the 17th Century features. Previously used as a donkey stable, the space now includes a shower room, kitchen area and lounge with a vaulted beam ceiling. A pull-down bed and a mezzanine sleeping area enables the cottage to comfortably accommodate 4 people. Please note that the mezzanine level is accessible via steep steps that must be approached with care and will not be suitable for some guests and young children. Rosebud is self contained and access is available via a lockbox. A designated parking space is adjacent to the cottage for one car. Please do not park on the main drive, through the wooden gate. The cottage has its own fenced courtyard. Being south facing it can prove a lovely sun trap. Rosebud is self contained and, due to the lockbox, guests are able to arrive without interaction with us, the hosts. We live in the adjacent Rose Cottage and will be available to help you during your stay if needed but otherwise we will leave you to it. 'Rosebud' is close by to the White Hart and the Princess Royal pubs. A parade of shops includes a local store, bakery and takeaways. 'Rosebud' is in a semi-rural location. The A31 and A331 are easily accessible giving you quick access to nearby towns and mainline train stations. * Enhanced Cleaning* We are as concerned as you will be about keeping the cottage clean. We therefore follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol. I (Michelle) personally clean each room using a cleaning checklist, using recommended cleaning products and wearing protective items e.g. disposable gloves, face mask, apron and foot covering. We also provide you with extra cleaning products so you can clean as you stay. Please be aware that the gated access to our driveway requires us to regularly drive past the front door of 'Rosebud'. So please take care when opening the door. There is a small step down from the hallway/kitchen to the lounge. Please be aware of it when moving to and from the lounge.
