The property is close to the heart of this popular market town opposite the historic Uppingham School. It is perfect for any visitors to the school and is a short walk from the town's amenities which include a good range of independent shops and eating establishments. It is a spacious two bedroom house with a large, beautiful kitchen/ dining space and sheltered walled courtyard garden. The house has been decorated and furnished to a high standard. Access to the property is off the main street through a stone archway and into the courtyard. The kitchen contains a range cooker, dishwasher and washing machine and has a large island unit. There is a cosy front living room with log burner and stone fireplace. A smart TV sits in the corner of the room with Netflix & high speed Wifi included. A flight of stairs leads to a large Jack and Jill bathroom featuring a roll top bath and separate shower cubicle. There are two spacious double bedrooms - one with ViSpring mattress and the other with a charming iron bedstead. A single mattress can be used to accommodate an extra guest, if required. The French doors in the kitchen lead out into the courtyard garden which is a lovely area to sit out in when the sun shines. Always available by email which is checked throughout the day. Happy to speak on the phone too. The beauty of the property is that it is in a quiet, peaceful area but very close to local amenities. There is a great coffee shop called Scandamania - they do fantastic coffee and cinnamon buns! Excellent eateries 'The Lake Isle' and 'Don Paddy's are a short walk away. There is a One Stop convenience shop two doors away that sells all the essentials. There is a sitting out area in the garden with table and chairs. Please take care on the decking area as there are a couple of loose boards. Guests are provided with a key to the French doors from the rear of the property which open into the kitchen. There is a set of emergency keys in the living room hung up near the door to the street. Please do not use unless there is an emergency. If you do have to take both keys out as the latch closes.
