Cozy cottage in the center of historic Pine Grove

This historic house in Pine Grove is close to hiking, mountain biking, fishing, a great restaurant, and an antique store. Want to work remotely here? You can! Our internet speeds are 25 mbps. The cottage is a great mix of cozy (from 1890) and new (kitchen and bathroom.) It's a great place for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and dogs. The house has 2 bedrooms, both with queen beds. There is another room that includes a sleeper sofa (queen size) for additional guests. In the heart of a small town, our cute cottage can be your base to explore Colorado. One hour from Denver but still very much in the mountains, have the best of both worlds and choose to go hiking, climbing, mountain biking or fishing - or alternatively visit a cool mountain town or the big city, Denver. The place has plenty of outdoor seating for chilling outside, alternatively snuggle up and read a book or watch Netflix/etc. With a brand new kitchen and bathroom in place, enjoy home comforts in the truly historic old mining town of Pine Grove. We have two tv's with Roku access with paid subscription to HBO now, Hulu, Netflix and Amazon Prime. Need some extra competition? The house also includes a full-sized foosball table! You'll have access to the whole house. We live outside of Pine Grove, but always available by phone if needed. Pine Grove is a historic mining town (circa. 1860's) nestled in a picturesque valley. The town thrived when the railroad passed through it, serving as a major junction and stop place for train engines. The town's lake used to be used to deliver ice to Denver's ice houses. Pine is a tiny place. The nearest bus stop is in Pine Junction and buses do run daily between Denver and Pine Junction. There is a fantastic restaurant (Zoka's) which is either a 10 minute walk, or a 1 minute drive away. The famous Bucksnort Saloon is a 10 minute drive away. Our place is in a quiet mountain community - this isn't the place for partying long into the night. It is a place to enjoy the outdoors and the peace and quiet of the mountains.
