Quick and easy access to the A421, A6, A1 & M1. 35 mins train to London. NO SMOKING / NO PETS Unfortunately the flat is unsuitable for wheelchair users as the doors are not wide enough and there is a step in to the front door. Ground floor annex to my home in Bedford with contactless check-in. A lovely studio flat with its own en-suite wet room with under floor heating. Smart TV and fast WiFi. Suitable for one, two or three. The room is furnished with a double bed. An extra single bed can be provided on request. Wardrobe, drawers and sofa. Kitchenette complete with double Induction hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, and fridge. Ideal for those who prefer simple self catering. On-site parking. Very sorry but the flat is a pet-free zone!! Contactless check-in Access to private flat only. Access through shared front porch. Contactless check-in is available but I am always ready to help you with any queries. I am a very friendly person. I have welcomed guests from across the world. I can help you with information about the local area and getting around. If you prefer privacy that's fine as you will have your own front door. Free Parking available on the front drive. The house is in a safe, quiet residential area 1.5 miles north of the town centre. It is close to local shops, a cafe which serves a full English breakfast (from 7am) and pubs for lunch and evening meals. Close to local parks and woods. The town centre is easily accessible by local bus.The university of Bedfordshire is close by. Bedford boasts an exceptional riverside Embankment, fascinating local museums and Art Gallery. We have some quality restaurants and gastro-pubs. Local places of interest are The Bodyflight and Wakeboarding Centre, Thurleigh, Woburn Abbey, home of the Duke of Bedford, Center Parcs, Woburn Safari Park and Elstow, home of John Bunyan, author of 'The Pilgrim's Progress'. Bedford is a good base for visiting London, Cambridge and Milton Keynes. The house is close to the Bedford bypass (A421) for access to the A1, M1, Luton, Cambridge and Milton Keynes. A short bus ride to the town centre. The bus from Bedford town centre costs £2.50 each way. (Number 7 or 10) Fast and frequent trains to London take 35 minutes to St Pancras. Slower ones take 50 minutes. A taxi to the station costs about £5. There is a regular bus service (X5) to Oxford and Cambridge. Regular buses go to Cranfield University from the town centre. I welcome you with a selection of fresh fruit, fresh milk, fresh bread, butter, fruit juice, cereals, tea, coffee & sugar. The cupboard is stocked with basic condiments. I will also do my best to accommodate 'special requests' if you let me know in time. I can usually do your washing for a small charge or there is a launderette near-by.
