Beautiful Farmhouse in Dordogne Valley, large private Heated Pool, amazing views

Le Bousquet is located in the village of Lostanges, where the sun shines warm through the summer months. Sympathetically restored but retaining its original charm, Le Bousquet has modern conveniences, a new salt water system 10x4 meter heated pool, large elevated deck, marvellous views and privacy. There are two bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom/shower room. One bedroom with double bed and second bedroom with 3 single beds, (the two singles convert to a double). All linen and towels, including pool towels, are provided. The kitchen is entirely new and has a dishwasher, island work surface, fridge/freezer, microwave/convection oven. A gas barbecue is also provided. A new flat screen tv with satellite reception (british television) and DVD player are provided. There is internet with WiFi (approx. 5meg) included as well. Laundry facilities include a washer and dryer. Le Bousquet is located midway between the two historic market towns of Beaulieu sur Dordogne and Meyssac. Both towns offer lots of choices for shopping as well as having market days where the best of local produce is for sale. Brice la Gaillarde is located 25kms away and has an airport with service to London City and Paris Orly Airports. Car hire is available at the airport and it is advised to book this in advance. Train service to Brive is direct from Paris Austerlitz with car hire available at the station. Le Bousquet is a unique property. It has far reaching views from the deck, modern conveniences in a rustic setting. 10x4 salt water system pool and above all privacy. There are no near neighbours, yet it is not isolated. All of the rooms are located on one level so it is also convenient for families with small children or the elderly, however the access to the pool from the deck is via a staircase and may not suit toddlers or unsteady people. All rooms are generous sizes. Kayaking on the Dordogne river, cycling, visits to the pre-historic caves of Pech Merle or Lascaux, medieval towns of Collonges la Rouge, Turenne and Curemonte, Chateau of Castelnau are just a few of the activities to discover in this beautiful region.
