Lake Rabun Home ON THE LAKE (sleeps 12)

Whether you’re hosting a family reunion or just want plenty of space to spread out, this cabin is perfect for you! The lake is only a few steps from the front door, and the cement dock provides a stable, slip resistant platform. The lake is currently drawn down and will be refilled starting December 31. Pictures are included here so you can see how it looks with the water drawn down. Aside from gorgeous lakefront views and easy access to the water, this renovated home has an outdoor screened in porch with capacity to seat up to 16 guests and a propane grill to cook out. The master bedroom and second bedroom are perfect for couples, and the bunk room, has two bunks with single beds on top and queen beds underneath, was designed for kids. The pull out sofa in the living room also allows for 2 more guests. The renovated kitchen has new appliances and plenty of prep space for large dinners. You will have full access to the floats and kayaks, and if you're interested in renting a boat please contact me and I'll be happy to help. You'll have full access to the main house, including the dock and upper deck. There is also a guest house that our family utilizes, but if you need additional space please contact me to discuss renting that space as well. There is a shared deck with the guest house but mostly used as a walkway unless both houses are rented together. The guest house can hold up to 12 additional guests if needed. I’m always available via phone or text. Depending on the weekend, I may be staying in the guest house. If you're looking for something to do off the lake, there are plenty of great hiking and other activities. Tallulah Gorge is a 10 minute drive away, and Panther creek is approximately 30 minutes away. There are a number of vineyards and wineries within half an hour's drive, and downtown Clayton is only about twenty minutes away if you want to go out to dinner or need groceries. And if you're a Georgia or Clemson fan, its only about an hour driver (not including game day traffic) to the stadium. The cabin is in a quiet area of North Georgia, so you'll need a car to get here and around. If you're interested in renting a boat please contact me and I'll be happy to help.
