Nice "Maestrale" apartment on the ground floor with a common terrace overlooking the sea
"Maestrale" sea view apartment Nice "Maestrale" apartment on the ground floor of a completely renovated period building. Surrounded by peace and tranquility, it has a beautiful common terrace overlooking the sea. Between the coasts of the Tyrrhenian Sea of Versilia and the peaks of the Apuan Park, between Europe and the Mediterranean, where the view embraces from the Livorno coast to the Cinque Terre. An ancient land, overlooking archaeological sites with fascinating names, those of the "Buca delle Fate" Naturalistic Archaeological Park, which indicate an intense frequentation of man since the dawn of his story. What is certain is that ancient men knew how to choose enchanted places to stay. And so from prehistory we come to Roman times, in fact Corsanico seems to take its name from those people "Anicii" Roman colonists, who colonized these lands by reclaiming them and making them productive. The ancient "curtis Anici" today Corsanico is a fraction of the Municipality of Massarosa in the province of Lucca. Characterized by its Ancient Church dedicated to San Michele, of Lombard foundation, the first mention dates back to the eighth century, reveals in some of its features the Romanesque style, and retains an organ built between 1602 and 1606 by the Venetian Vincenzo Colonna. The instrument and its history are closely linked to that of the last two centuries of Corsanico and its people. Today the Cultural Association "Friends of Organ Music Vincenzo Colonna", organizes the summer concert seasons considered to be among the highest level in Italy and has assumed a value recognized also internationally. Everything is wrapped in the cultivation of vineyards and olive trees, some species of these plants are over a thousand years old and the terraces recall ancient eras of wise balance between man and nature. Vineyard and olive trees frame the plain "a real garden of Eden" torn from the swamps and today fertile with vegetables and flowers famous all over the world. We are surprised at how strategic the position is, immersed in an unusual Tuscan landscape, quiet and peaceful, just 15 minutes from the Viareggio and Massarosa motorway toll booths, which connect us easily to the Carrara quarries, to the cities of art Lucca, Pisa , Florence, but also to the white beaches of Versilia and to 5 Terre and Genoa. Surrounded by the Apuan Parks, that of Migliarino San Rossore Massaciuccoli is an ideal place to spend your holiday, but also as a strategic point to visit some of the most fascinating sites in Tuscany and beyond. Among the curiosities of the area we highlight THE BELLS OF TOSCA bells, their magical double four is said to spread over the entire valley to Lake Massaciuccoli and we inspired Puccini who wanted to immortalize them in "Tosca". Even today it is still possible to listen to them ringed with arms like in the past by the town's bell ringers.
