The Little Barn, cosy with a touch of luxury

The Little Barn is a newly converted , self contained barn. You have your privacy but I am next door to help if necessary. The barn is luxurious, yet homely and quiet and near to two lovely pubs with fab food and a little post office/shop. There are many walks from the house and the A1M/A505 is minutes away for those travelling north, south or to Cambridge. A DOG MAY BE CONSIDERED ON REQUEST Babies welcome or children over 10 on request. XMAS AND LONG TERM LETS (after August) by request. You will have a lovely King (150CM) bed to sleep on and we can provide a cot if you have a baby in the lounge area. There is also a mezzanine with a desk which makes a great working space and also 2 chairs where you can sit and have a glass of wine. The main bedroom has a bathroom with a large walk in shower and heated towel rail. The whole barn has underfloor heating so will be lovely and cosy in Winter. There is a smart TV in the bedroom and the lounge area. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, induction hob, extractor, fridge freezer and a coffee machine. Outside there is a patio with a table and chairs and we can provide loungers and towels and you are welcome to find a quiet spot in our garden or play tennis on the tennis court or even gather round a fire pit on a chilly evening. There are many places to explore nearby and we are only 35 mins from Cambridge and St Albans. Its possible to walk into Letchworth Garden City in 30 mins and also a little further to Hitchin where you will find lots of restaurants and pubs. We will provide a continental breakfast for your first night/morning which caters for most dietary needs. We also have a Type 2 charger for electric cars for a small fee and plenty of safe parking. My husband or myself are always contactable by phone and are usually around at home so we will do everything we can to assist you if you have any queries. We live in the lovely Village of Willian which is equidistant between the centres of Hitchin and Letchworth Garden City, Englands first garden city and has the first roundabout ever to be built. It is a great place to explore from as we are near the A1M which gives easy access to Stevanage, Welwyn, Hatfield and St Albans and we are also only 35 minutes drive to Cambridge and close to many attractions. You will find details in a booklet provided in your holiday home. There are lots of lovely walks around but I would suggest a car as there is so much else to see and we do not have a bus running through the village any longer. I can call a taxi for you or if I am free I am happy to take you to the train stations.
