Cosy serene Annex, Gourmet food and Homegrown ingredients This tempting retreat is situated in beautiful gardens in the heart of the High Weald area of East Sussex. Recently renovated to a high standard with the aim of providing a luxurious and nourishing place to relax and escape from the demands of everyday life. To this end this immaculate studio has been carefully thought out with attention to detail to provide a comfortable space to completely unwind. A homemade welcome pack is included The annex has been lovingly restored and offers comfortable cosy accommodation. Inside the annex is a sleeping area with a double bed with a memory foam mattress. There is an adjacent shower room with marble tiles throughout. The bed has Egyptian cotton sheets, with soft warm throws. The shower room has thick soft towels and palm oil free vegan toiletries. In the sitting area is a fully fitted kitchen comprising a Smeg Oven and Induction hob, fridge, dish washer, granite work surface and an eating area. A Nespresso coffee machine, toaster and kettle are also supplied. There are two comfortable armchairs next to a wood burning stove. A Smart TV is attached to the wall. The welcome pack includes a selection of delicious home made pastries and cakes. Outside is an eating area and barbecue. The views from the annex look out across the beautiful gardens and are close to the kitchen garden. We have recently installed a tennis court which is available for guests to use. Stroll through the gardens to the River Uck which borders the property and to the lake where you can relax in a small rowing boat. There is abundant wildlife everywhere and sometimes late at night there are deer to be seen wandering through the garden. Dining-in is provided at an additional cost cooked by a Cordon Bleu cook using locally sourced and home grown ingredients. Please enquire about dining in experience when booking. Mid-week and some weekends not currently available. For stays of a minimum of a week I am currently offering a 15% discount. There is WiFi set up exclusively for the annex. There is private parking for guests in our driveway and your own entrance. The main house is a grade II listed historical building with a thatched barn. I am around to provide any assistance that I can but there is a key lock and I am keen to provide a quiet safe haven to relax in. In an area of outstanding beauty. Both Ashdown Forest and the South Downs are closeby There are also some Great local pubs. Close to Crowborough and Uckfield Station. 25 minutes drive to Lewes and Glyndebourne (picnics available on request.) Located very close to The Little Dairy for groups of friends to holiday close by. Glyndebourne is only 20 minutes drive. Picnics available on request at an additional cost.
