Otherwise, enjoy the fire and bask in cosiness. Our rural location just outside the historic market town of Biggar brings privacy, stunning views, and great walks like Culter Fell or Tinto. There is parking (with disabled access) and we would recommend bringing a car. Biggar is a 15-minute walk away. Set within pleasant gardens, our cosy cabin offers you a home away from home where we hope you'll be able to relax and enjoy all the area has to offer. The full property is yours to enjoy! Keys will be available via a key box accessed via a code we'll provide you with, so even if we aren't there to introduce you to the Cabin, you'll be able to get in! The nearby town of Biggar hosts events such as the famous Biggar Hogmanay Bonfire, the Biggar Little Festival, Vintage Car Rally, Agricultural Show, as well as, more permanent attractions like our museum, puppet theatre, and gasworks. Gamekeeper’s Cabin is ideal for visiting Edinburgh and Glasgow which are both around an hour's travel away. Edinburgh is accessible via bus. For touring, our location is ideal for the Borders, and Dumfries & Galloway.
