Comfy village house with nice views

The house is located in Kato Platres. A nice little village in the mountains of Cyprus. Perfect for holidays and half an hour drive from Limassol. Troodos square is 10 minute drive. The house is quite large and comfortable and could host up to 5 people. The kitchen and living room are on the upper floor, which is level with the road and the bedrooms are on the ground (lower) floor which is also the way to the small garden. The house is located in the midle of the village, but has private unobstracted views to a beautiful green valley underneath. During spring and early summer one can wake up to the nightingales song and if you are lucky to catch the time of the melting snow from the Troodos mountains, to the relaxing sound of stream water next to the house. There is a small supermarket all year round and a couple of taverns during the summer, right in the village, but there is everything one might need, shops, banks, restaurants etc if you travel 2 km to the famous resort of Pano Platres, which has hosted personalities and celebrities at its beautiful boutique hotels and villas with neoclassic stunning architecture. A few kilometers to the south is the picturesque village of Omodhos, with many cafes and taverns and a famous Byzantine monastery and church. Not far a series of Venetian bridges, and a beautiful valley where you may observe the cypriot moufflones in their natural habitat. Many Byzantine churches and monasteries are within 15-30 minutes drive. There are a few natural waterfalls and trails to walk and observe the forest and the stunning views. The house entrance is under CCTV surveillance externally Guests have access to a kitchen, living and dining area, a tv, fireplace and wood burning stove, 2 bedrooms, 2 toilets a shower, a relaxation room and a yard where my mother grows fresh herbs and vegetables. Either me or my mother will meet and greet the guests when they arrive to show them everything they need. There are several routes of the public bus to and from Limassol, starting very early in the morning until afternoon. If one wants to explore the Troodos mountain trails, he may catch the morning bus to it, at 10.30 and return to the village at 15.30. The bus fare is 1.50 euros. There are also a few taxis which offer transportation services in the area During the winter we will have a small pack of hard wood for the fireplace, enough to keep you warm for an evening. You may always purchase additional wood at the local supermarket.
