The town offers plenty of interesting shops with many pubs and restaurants to visit for daytime and evening visitors. Weekly markets take place on the 'Cobbled Square' along with monthly 'Farmers Markets' and a fabulous Christmas Market. Lakeside Cottage is in the perfect location to visit the towns of Alsager, Holmes Chapel, Congleton and Middlewich. The Peak District is also only a short drive away of twenty minutes boasting a mass of wonderful walks as well as many other outdoor pursuits. Sandbach Train station allows you to travel further afield to attractions in Manchester, Alderly Egde, Liverpool and Chester.
