Aloha, We are a hosted rental, nightly rate includes your payment of GE and TAT taxes. We are fully vaccinated. Separate entrance to room and private bathroom. Bedroom has king bed with kitchenette, patio has outdoor kitchen. We have a 2 dogs, 1 cat, 2 chickens on premises. Just 5 miles from downtown Hilo on the beautiful Hamakua coast, we are in a former sugar plantation. It is a family oriented neighborhood with dogs, roaming chickens/roosters, and the Hilo coqui frog chirps at night. Private entrance to bedroom with King bed and kitchenette. Private bathroom. In addition to kichenette in room, there is a covered outdoor kitchen , with bbq grill and gas burner, sink, electric outlet, seating and lights. We are happy to share produce/herbs from our garden. Porch , patio with outdoor kitchen and garden. We respect your privacy, but just ask and we will love to share our love of Hawai'I and favorite places to visit and best places to eat. A piece of old Hawai'i, we have been renovating a 105 year old home that is a part of a family oriented neighborhood of homes formerly a part of Silverton Camp sugar plantation. There are neghborhood dogs, chickens/roosters and coqui frogs. Easy access to Highway 19. 15 to 20 minute drive to downtown Hilo. A short easy drive to Botanical garden, Akaka Falls, Rainbow Falls. @ 1 hour to Volcano and top of Mauna Kea. Need a car. Please be sure to check current Covid 19 mandates on the safe travels website. Hawaii has done very well in limiting spread of virus, but we are very vulnerable to a spread as we have very limited hospital/ medical resources.
